my toes smell like gardenias

i found some dry oil in my bathroom...bought, semi-used and forgotten years ago. i sprinkled it on my red polished toes and now the aroma of garden gardenias follows me as i walk around the house. is it okay and/or professional to meet with VPs and CIOs smelling like gardenias?
